Driver Profile: Laura Beck-Patton

Here’s a big hello to Laura Beck-Patton! As a new part-time driver, Laura is pleased to continue serving the public, after working 20 years in healthcare. 

Laura was planning a career change. Funny how things happen, but an acquaintance mentioned that he drove for LC Wheels. He described a bit about the driver position. Laura was interested as she enjoys driving and working with people, found out that LC Wheels was looking for a driver, applied, and presto, her new career has begun! 

She was planning on working afternoon shifts, but that could change to full days. That’s nice for riders as there’s more opportunity to be chauffeured by Laura!

And driving the new vehicles? “They’re so great,” she says. “They have excellent visibility.” Providing a useful service is important for Laura. She enjoys listening to the stories of riders and is glad to be helpful. 

Laura grew up in Newburne. She worked for ten years in Halifax, but then returned to Bridgewater. That was 15 years ago. “Bridgewater has always been a place I love to be!”
