Lunenburg County Wheels is an expansion of Senior Wheels to a universal ridership and — geographically (by degrees) to all western Lunenburg County. So, the decision was made to signify these changes with a new name.

Yes. You can book rides as in the past. The difference is that there are now set fares to help us pay our costs instead of optional donations. For travel in the area that has been served by Senior Wheels the fare will be $2.50 one-way and $5.00 round trip.

Funding come from a variety of sources, including the Nova Scotia government’s Public Works Department, the Nova Scotia Community Transportation Network, the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, and the Bridgewater Lions Club.
