We have four new 8-passenger Dodge ProMaster vans each with a lift (and two with bike racks) and a 7-passenger Dodge minivan.

How to book your ride:

Give us a call at 902-523-4455 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and we will start to book your ride.

  • Rides should now be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance.

We’ll pick you up and drop you off where you need to go within our current Service Area.

The call for 72 hour advance bookings is due to heavy demand.

Book important specific times, such as medical appointments, as soon as you know them. We will book a reservation up to one month ahead.

We do accept last minute requests but of course can’t guarantee availability.

What you’ll need to provide at the time of booking:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your community, road or street, and civic number
  • Planned departure time and address
  • Your destination
  • Any special requirements you may have (wheelchair, service animal, additional stops needed, etc.)

Inclement Weather Travel Policy

LC Wheels strives to provide a safe transportation service and reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trips based on weather conditions and forecasts. Occasionally weather conditions can impact LC Wheels services, most notably in the winter months. While we are committed to completing rides as scheduled, rider and driver safety is our priority. LCWheels reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trips based on weather conditions in the trip origins and destinations. Shifts/rides will be cancelled under the following circumstances:

  • South Shore Regional Centre for Education school bus services are cancelled;
  • Weather forecast/advisories indicate hazardous driving conditions;
  • Actual driving conditions as reported from our drivers
  • Secondary tertiary road is not ploughed or impossible.’

Drivers are given the authority and responsibility to cancel a trip on route of returning home or sheltering in place if travel conditions are not safe and will informed the dispatcher immediately request assistance once a drive or shift is canceled. It will remain cancelled even of conditions change.

Payment Options:

Lunenburg County Wheels accepts payments by cash (exact change only) or cheque (made out to Lunenburg County Wheels).

Payment is due at time of pickup unless prior arrangements have been made with the dispatcher.
