WHERE CAN LC WHEELS TAKE YOU?
HOW TO BOOK A RIDE
Step #1
Call us at 902-523-4455 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. All rides need to be scheduled a minimum of 24hrs in advance.
Step #2
Have your details ready! This incudes your name, address, phone number, departure time, destination address, and any special requirement you may have.
Step #3
Have your payment ready at the time of pickup! We accept cash (exact change only) or cheque (made out to Lunenburg County Wheels).
The following passengers ride for free:
• Riders under 16 yrs. old accompanied by an adult.
• Riders assisting passengers who need help to travel. (Attendants.)
Does your bike fit one of our bike racks? The answer is Yes — if your bike meets all the following specs:
• A wheel size 20 inches to 29 inches (51 cm. to 74 cm.), excluding tandems or recumbent bicycles.
• A wheelbase dimension up to 44 inches (112 cm). (The horizontal distance between the centre of the front and rear axles.)
• Tire widths up to 2.3 inches (5.8 cm),
• A weight up to 55 lbs. (25 kg.)
LC Wheels has bike racks on two of its new 8-passenger vans. Let the Dispatcher know when you plan to take your bike so that the right van can take you — and your bike — where you want to go.
SERVICE AREA & FARES
(Effective April 8, 2024)
Our service area is western Lunenburg County, which includes the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg (MODL), and the Towns of Bridgewater, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay.
There are General Rates for rides between any two points within the entire service area. There are also Town Area Rates that apply to rides within the three Towns and the areas of MODL near those Towns.

• Lunenburg to/from Mahone Bay: $5 one-way / $10 return.
• Mahone Bay or Lunenburg to/from Bridgewater: $7.50 one-way / $15 return.
• Barss Corner to New Germany: $2.50 one way / $5 return.
• LaHave to Crescent Beach: $5 one-way / $7.50 return.
• Camperdown to Riverport: $7.50 one-way / $15 return.
• Parkdale to Cherry Hill: $7.50 one-way / $15 return.
