Big Donation from South Shore Regional Hospital Auxiliary
Recently the South Shore Hospital Auxiliary staged the presentation of a giant cheque to represent its $25,000 gift to LC Wheels to cover insurance for all its vehicles for the year. It’s a significant gift amount for a non-profit that operates six vehicles and carries a thousand passengers a month.
Auxiliary President Sandra Forsythe made the presentation to LC Wheels President Jerome Tanner near the “The Daisy”, one source of the Auxiliary’s funds. The balance of their income comes from paintings sold at the Shoreline Gallery in the Hospital, and snacks and gifts bought at the Hospital’s Gift Shoppe.
The large donation recognizes the role LC Wheels plays in transporting residents of all ages to and from South Shore Regional.
